Dragoslav “Dragan” Nikolić was born on August 20, 1943, and died on March 11, 2016.

He was a Serbian actor.

He studied at Dramatic Arts Academy in Belgrade.

Nikolić starred in the film Kad budem mrtav i beo, in 1967, which was the beginning of a career that lasts to this day.

He has since appeared in many films of different genres and portrayed various characters, becoming one of the most iconic and recognizable actors in Serbian cinema.

During 2000, he received “Pavle Vuisić” Award for his life work.

Since September 2011 to 2013, he was the television host on the Serbian edition of quiz Millionaire.

His roles as Prle, wisecracking World War II resistance fighter whom he portrayed in 1970s TV series Otpisani and Povratak otpisanih.

His wife Milena Dravić with whom he co-hosted 1970s TV variety show Obraz uz obraz (Cheek to cheek).

His wife was a popular Serbian actress.
