Doug Rollerson, New Zealand rugby player, Died at 63

Douglas Leslie “Doug” Rollerson was born on May 14, 1953, and died in 2017.

He was a former New Zealand rugby union and rugby league player, and rugby union executive.

He mainly played as a fullback and first five-eighth, Rollerson represented Manawatu at a provincial level and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1976, 1980 and 1981.

Doug Rollerson played 24 matches for the All Blacks including eight full internationals.

Later, Rollerson served as the chief executive of the North Harbour Rugby Union from December 1997 to March 2004.

Doug Rollerson passed away at 63 years old.
