Donna was an early female paratrooper with the United States Army and a historian of Fort Bragg.

Tabor served with the 35th Signal Brigade.

She served as the Command Historian for 18th Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg since 1997

Tabor’s father’s military career resulted in her growing up on military bases and in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
