Don Hunstein was born in 1928 and died on March 18, 2017.

He was an American photographer.

He studied at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating in 1950.

Then he served in the United States Air Force in England.

Hunstein returned to the United States in 1954 and settled in New York City.

He started working for Columbia Records, in 1955.

Hunstein remained there until 1986.

A seletion of his photographs were published in 2013 book Keeping Time: The Photographs of Don Hunstein.

Among his best-known images is of Bob Dylan walking with Suze Rotolo: it was used for the cover of Dylan’s album The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan.

Don Hunstein passed away at 88 years old.
