José Rafael Abinader Wasaf was born on March 2, 1929, and died on November 4, 2018.

was a politician, lawyer and writer from the Dominican Republic and Vice-President of the Dominican Revolutionary Party.

He established the Universidad Dominicana O&M college, in which he was a minister.

Jose Rafael Abinader is the child of José S. Abinader, a Lebanese migrant from Baskinta, Mount Lebanon, who touched base to the nation in 1898, and Esther Wassaf, conceived in Monte Cristi to Lebanese guardians from Baskinta also.

When he was 11 years of age, his family moved from the town of Tamboril to the villa of Gurabito (situated on the edges of Santiago de los Caballeros).

He contemplated Law, and got a doctorate.

He hitched Rosa S. Crown Caba, and reproduced 3 kids, among them, the agent and government official Luis Abinader.

Abinader has been individual from the National Executive Committee (Spanish: Comité Ejecutivo Nacional) of the Dominican Revolutionary Party since 1963.

He established the Dominican Social Alliance party (ASD; now the Modern Revolutionary Party or PRM); in 1998 he was chosen Senator for the Santiago Province in a collusion with the Dominican Revolutionary Party.

Abinader was the ASD’s presidential possibility for three times: 1982, 1990 and 1996.

Thirty after four years after Abinader’s first presidential battle, his child Luis Abinader turned into the presidential applicant of that gathering (despite the fact that renamed as PRM) for the 2016 general decision.

José Rafael Abinader Wasaf passed away at 89 years old.
