Denis Sonet, French Catholic priest and marriage counselor, Died at 89

Denis Sonet was born on April 3, 1926, in Plancher-les-Mines and died on September 23, 2015.

He was a Catholic priest, chaplain and teacher of marriage counselors and educators.

He worked at the Liaison Centre for research teams (Cler) since 1969 and author of numerous conferences where he resumed the themes of his many books on sexual and emotional life.

Denis Sonet entered the minor seminary at the age of eleven years, first at the seminary in Besançon, then to that of La Rochelle due to bone calcification.

He was ordained as a priest for the Archdiocese of Besançon in 1951, Sonet asked to join the Diocese of Troyes in order to be a country priest

Denis has traveled to France where he lectures in which he takes up the themes of his works since 1958, including the four pillars lasts for a couple: sexuality, tenderness, communication and a common project

Denis Sonet passed away at 89 yrs old on September 23, 2015.
