David Michael Culver was born on December 5, 1924, in Winnipeg, Manitoba and died on February 6, 2017.

He was a Canadian businessman and former Chairman and CEO of Alcan Aluminum Limited, from 1979 to 1989.

He attended Selwyn House School, received a Bachelor of Science from McGill University in 1947, an MBA from Harvard University, and a Certificate from the Centre d’Études Industrielles in Geneva.

He began working at Alcan in 1949, eventually rising to CEO in 1979.

David was Chairman of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, from 1986 to 1989.

David Culver passed away at 92 years old.
