David Hugh Bunnell was born in 1947 and died on October 18, 2016.

He was a pioneer of the personal computing industry

David founded some of the most successful computer magazines including PC Magazine, PC World and Macworld.

In the year 1975, Bunnell was working at MITS in Albuquerque, N.M., when the company made the first personal computer, the Altair 8800.

Bunnell’s coworkers included Microsoft founders Bill Gates and Paul Allen, who created the first programming language for the Altair, Altair BASIC.

David Bunnell passed away at 69 years old.
