David Roberto Bárcena Ríos was born on December 26, 1941, and died on February 24, 2017.

He was a Mexican equestrian.

He competed at five Olympic Games.

Rios competed in the Modern Pentathlon at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics and in Eventing at the 1972, 1976 and 1980 Olympics.

During his fifth Olympics, Rios won bronze in the Team Event.

David Bárcena Ríos passed away at 75 years old.
