Cyril Zuma, South African footballer, died at 30

Cyril Zuma, born February 14, 1985 and died on September 4, 2015, he was a South African football (soccer) midfielder.

Zuma was known for being talented but always had problems off the field.

He played most of his career in the National First Division and played for two Premier Soccer League clubs Kaizer Chiefs with Jabu Pule, Thabo Mooki, John Moshoeu, Arthur Zwane and at Moroka Swallows with likes of Lefa Tsutsulupa, Dennis Lota, Henrico Botes and Alfred Phiri amongst others.

Zuma was the captain of the U-23 team under Steve Komphela.

He played his only match in senior national team colours on 26 February 2005 in a COSAFA Cup match against Seychelles, two weeks after his 20th birthday.

Cyril Zuma died on 4 September 2015 after being comatose when he was struck by a car in August 2015.
