Curt Lowens was born Curt Löwenstein on November 17, 1925, in the East Prussian town of Allenstein (now Olsztyn, Poland) and died on May 8, 2017.

He was an actor of the stage and in feature films and television.

He was also a Holocaust survivor and a rescuer.

He saved about 150 Jewish children during the Holocaust.

After his father, and step-mother immigrated to the United States In 1947, using the name Curt Lowens, he trained to become an actor, studying at the Herbert Berghof Studio in New York.

Curt’s career was still active before his death, and he has appeared in over 100 films and TV shows since 1960.

Curt Lowens passed away at 91 years old.
