Cune Gojković, Serbian singer, Died at 84

Predrag “Cune” Gojković was born on November 6, 1932 and died on July 21, 2017.

He was a Serbian singer with a career spanning over six decades.

During 1939, Gojković enrolled into primary school and after that he enrolled into the 8th Mens Gymnasium in

Belgrade alongside the legendary Yugoslav actors Velimir Bata Živojinović and Danilo Bata Stojković.

After high school, Gojković went to the Trade Academy which he never finished due to his love for singing.

Gojković performed in the late 1950s with Silvana Armenulić and an orchestra and even recorded an extended play with her, which was released on 6 July 1973.

His album featured two songs: “Gdje si da si moj golube” and “Kad u jesen lišće žuti”.

Gojković was awarded the Order of Merits for the People by the Yugoslav President of Yugoslavia Josip Broz Tito.

Predrag “Cune” Gojković passed away at 84 years old.
