Robert Craig Windham was born on June 20, 1949, in Washington and died on February 28, 2016.
He was an American radio journalist and duty reporter for National Public Radio.
Craig had been the anchor of NPR’s weekday morning newscast and before that the anchor of NPR’s weekend afternoon newscast.
Windham joined NPR in 1995.
Before working for NPR, he was a Washington correspondent for RKO Radio Network.
He received his education at the College of William and Mary.
Craig Windham then gained a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in counseling from the George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. Windham was a licensed clinical professional counselor and worked with adolescents.
Robert’s dissertation and research focused on the use of social media and online communication by teenagers.
Craig Windham passed away at 66 yrs old.
