Constantin “Titi” Michael was born on July 24, 1945, Mangalia and died January 22, 2016.

He was a Romanian athletics coach.

He was considered to be one of the most important promoters of evidence sprint, hurdles and jumps as well as male athletes in Romania.

Constantin Mihail had a significant role in restructuring the Romanian Athletics Federation after the fall of the communist regime.

Mihail has trained for many clubs in Constanta (Sports School no. 1 Club Science) and Bucharest (Dinamo) and the national team athletes that prepared them getting over one hundred titles and downing dozens of national records.

In the year 1990 to 1996, he was the head coach for the federal sprint, hurdles, jumps and between 1996 and 2008 was the first technical director of the Romanian Athletics Federation.

He was part of the technical commission of the Romanian Olympic Committee between 2004 and 2008.

Constantin Mihail passed away at 70 yrs old.
