Colombian football player, Germán Aceros, Died at 80

Germán Aceros Buenos was born on September 30, 1938, and died on October 29, 2018.

He was a Colombian footballer.

Germán Aceros competed for the Colombian national football team at the 1962 FIFA World Cup which was held in Chile.

He played football as a right and left winger, central forward and attacking midfielder in Colombia with Atlético Bucaramanga, Millonarios, Deportivo Cali, Independiente Medellín and Deportivo Pereira.

Aceros suffered a career-ending knee injury while playing for Real Cartagena in 1972.

After Germán retired from playing, Aceros became a football coach.

Germán Aceros managed Bucaramanga, Deportes Tolima, Liga del Magdalena and Independiente Medellín in Colombia, before moving to Venezuela to manage Minervén.

Germán Aceros passed away at 80 years old.
