Clem Curtis was born on November 28, 1940, in Trinidad and died on March 27, 2017.

He was a Trinidadian British singer.

Curtis was the original lead vocalist of sixties soul group The Foundations.

He arrived in England at the age of fifteen and later found employment as an interior decorator.

Curtis entered boxing and won most of his fights as a professional boxer.

Clem’s mother was a popular singer in Trinidad and Curtis claims that this contributed to his ear for music.

Clem Curtis passed away at 76 years old.
