Chus Lampreave birthname María Jesús Lampreave Pérez was born on December 11, 1930, in Madrid and died on April 4, 2016, in Almería.

She was a Spanish actress.

Chus Lampreave started appearing in films in 1958, but she became internationally known thanks to her roles in films by Pedro Almodóvar, where she played old ladies with maternal or pastoral traits.

Chus Lampreave was awarded the Premio Goya in 1992, Fotogramas de Plata (2005), Premios unión de actores (2006) and at Cannes Film Festival in 2006, she won Best actress together with the rest of female cast of Volver.

Chus Lampreave passed away at 85 yrs old.
