Christina Victoria Grimmie was born on March 12, 1994, and died on June 11, 2016.

She was an American singer and songwriter.

She was best known for participating in The Voice and for her covers of hit songs by contemporary pop musicians.

Grimmie released her debut EP, in June 2011, Find Me.

Reportedly, Christina told a reporter that she wanted to stop doing covers in June 2012 and start writing only original music.

During 2014, Grimmie took part in Season 6 of NBC’s singing competition The Voice and finished in third place.

Grimmie’s coach Adam Levine, on the show, announced in the finale that regardless of the results, he would sign her to his label, 222 Records.

Stars like Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne also supported her on the show and Lil Wayne offered to sign her to his label, Young Money Entertainment.

Christina Grimmie signed to Island Records for a short time before being dropped.

She was shot at a concert in Orlando.

Christina Grimmie passed away at 22 yrs old.
