Chris Carney was born Christopher Carney on January 1, 1980, and died on December 4, 2015 in a traffic collision.

He was an Arkansas musician and MTV reality star.

Chris is married to Disney starlet Tiffany Thornton, they got married in 2011.

Chris was the lead singer of the rock band The Prom Kings; their song “Blow” was a major hit.

In 2006, He and his brother, Greg Carney, were featured on the MTV show twentyfourseven, which followed entertainers’ pursuits of making it big in Los Angeles.

He died in Arkansas, when the car he was a passenger in hit a tree while attempting to go around a corner.

Chris Carney is survived by his mother, Mayor Ruth Carney of Hot Springs, his father, Rev. Ken Carney, brother Greg Carney, wife Tiffany Thornton, and their two kids, Kenneth Carney and Bentley Carney.

Chris passed away at age 35 in December 2015.
