She was a Taiwanese politician.
Yu-mei served as Deputy Minister of the Overseas Community Affairs Council of the Executive Yuan from September 18, 2013, to August 8, 2014.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Aoyama Gakuin University in Japan and her Executive MBA from National Taiwan University.
Yu-mei worked in the media as a TV and radio host and spokesperson.
Yu-mei was a member of Taipei City Council for five consecutive terms.
Chen Yu-mei passed away at 50 years old.
