Clarence Welborn Daniel was born on June 12, 1926, in Okeechobee, Florida and died on August 10, 2016.

He was an American attorney and politician in the state of Florida.

Daniel attended the University of Florida and earned an LL.B. in 1950.

Daniel was named to the Florida bar in 1950. He also served in World War II with the United States Navy.

C. Welborn Daniel served in the Florida House of Representatives for Lake County from 1956 to 1964, as a Democrat.

He was elected to the State Senate for the 23rd district in 1963 and served until 1966.

Then, he was once again elected to the State Senate in 1968, this time for district 15; he would serve until 1971.

C. Welborn Daniel was appointed as a judge of the Florida District court and then served as a judge of the Florida District Courts of Appeal.

C. Welborn Daniel was married to Carol Sue Hutchinson and had two children.

C. Welborn Daniel passed away at 90 years old.
