Robert Bernard Schnelker was born on October 17, 1928, and died on December 12, 2016.

He was an American football tight end.

Schnelker played for nine seasons in the National Football League, mainly with the New York Giants.

He played college football at Bowling Green State University and was drafted in the 29th round of the 1950 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.

He was a two-time Pro Bowler and a member of the 1956 NFL Champion Giants.

Following his retirement from football, he was an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings.

Bob Schnelker passed away at 88 years old.
