Bob Lester was born on January 17, 1913, and died on November 6, 2015.

He was a Brazilian singer, musician and tap dancer, who excelled in the decades of 1930 and 1940.

Bob Lester was born Edgard de Almeida Negrao de Lima, on January 17, 1913 in the town Santa Maria-RS. His musical trends emerged very early because his mother Maria do Carmo was a musician in an orchestra in Porto Alegre.

In the mid-30, still with Almeida pseudonym, participates in the radio show “The Gong Time” presented by Ary Barroso.

Bob Lester passed away at age 102 in November 2015.
