He was an American professional baseball player.

Bob played as an outfielder appeared in 208 Major League Baseball games over four seasons (1950–53) for three National League teams.

Bob Addis threw right-handed, batted left-handed, and was listed as 6 feet (1.8 m) tall and 170 pounds (77 kg).

Addis was later baseball coach and athletic director at Euclid (Ohio) High School, leading the team to a state championship in 1963.

Addis was inducted into the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1975.
