Bjørn Lidin Hansen was born on June 11, 1989, and died on October 25, 2016.

He was a Norwegian footballer.

Hansen played one match in the Norwegian Premier League for Tromsø, and also played senior football for Tromsdalen and Lyn.

Bjørn Lidin Hansen also played seven youth internationals for Norway.

During the spring of 2015, he was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of cancer.

Hansen was declared cancer-free about a year later, and successfully returned to Lyn, playing his first match after the cancer battle.

Bjørn Lidin Hansen passed away at 27 years old.
