William Joseph “Bill” Roberts was born on March 3, 1925, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States, and died on January 23, 2016.

He was an American basketball player.

Bill Roberts was awarded a varsity letter by the University of Wyoming for the 1945-46, for helping the Cowboys to a Mountain States Athletic Conference (MSAC), which is the conference title and an NCAA appearance.

The Cowboys recorded 22-4 with an MSAC record of 10-2.

Williams NBA career continued from 1948 to 1950.
