William Marion “Bill” Hougland was born on June 20, 1930, and died on March 6, 2017.

He was an American basketball player.

Hougland competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics and in the 1956 Summer Olympics.

Hougland was also a member of the Kansas Jayhawks’ 1952 NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship team.

Bill Hougland was a member of the 1952 American basketball team, which won the gold medal.

Bill played all eight matches.

The first Round Draft Pick in 1952 by the Minnesota Lakers.

After four years, Bill won his second gold medal as part of the 1956 American team.
