Bhavarlal Jain, Indian businessman, Died at 79

Bhavarlal Hiralal Jain was born in 1937, and died on February 25, 2016.

He was the Founder Chairman of Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (JISL), now known the second largest micro-irrigation company in the world.

He was a staunch Gandhian and philanthropist.

Bhavarlal Jain was the founder of Gandhi Research Foundation.

Jain founded the Anubhuti School, in July 2007, a strictly vegetarian, residential school with a difference which judiciously blends classroom learning with experiential project work.

The school has recently achieved ‘Green School Award’.

He also authored many books in English and Marathi.

Bhavarlal Jain passed away at 79 yrs old.
