Berit Mørdre Lammedal was born on April 16, 1940, and died on August 23, 2016.

She was a Norwegian cross-country skier.

Mørdre competed during the 1960s and 1970s.

She was known as Berit Mørdre during her active career, she competed in two Winter Olympics, earning a complete set of medals.

She also competed several times at the Holmenkollen ski festival, winning once at 5 km (1974).

Berit also won a silver medal at the 1966 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in the 3 × 5 km.

Awards given to her due to cross-country skiing, the Holmenkollen medal in 1971 (shared with Marjatta Kajosmaa and Reidar Hjermstad).

Berit Mørdre was the first Norwegian female skier to ever win the Holmenkollen medal.

Berit Mørdre passed away at 76 years old.
