Bengt Olof Lennart Lindqvist was born on June 3, 1936, in Helsingborg and died on December 3, 2016.
He was a Swedish politician.
Lindqvist was a member of the Social Democratic Party and known as an advocate for the visually impaired.
He was first elected to the Riksdag in 1982, he stepped down in 1995.
He also served as a deputy minister for social security in the Carlsson I Cabinet and was later named minister without portfolio with the same responsibilities in the Carlsson II Cabinet.
