Belarusian composer, Igor Luchenok, Died at 80

Igor Mikhailovich Luchenok was born on August 6, 1938, in Maryina Horka and died on November 12, 2018, in Minsk.

He was a Belarusian composer, People’s Artist of Belarus (and People’s Artist of the USSR), and chairman of the Belarusian Union of Composers.

Igor Luchenok worked in various classes, vocal-symphonic, chamber-instrumental, chamber-vocal, yet most productively, in tune.

From his works shaped the collection of Pesniary, Syabry, Verasy, Joseph Kobzon, Sofia Rotaru, Valentina Tolkunova, Maria Pakhomenko, Lev Leshchenko, Victor Vuyachich, Eduard Khil and numerous others.

Igor Luchenok passed away at 80 years old.
