Barry Cassin was born in 1924 and died on January 14, 2017.

He was an Irish television, stage and screen actor.

Acting on stage, Cassin was best known for his role in the production of Twelve Angry Men.

Acting on screen, he played mostly secondary roles such as in the television series Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog and the 2012 film Byzantium.

Barry introduced the works of John B. Keane and notably directed the first stage production of The Field.

His daughter, Anne, is a well-known journalist and news presenter for Raidió Teilifís Éireann.

Barry Cassin passed away at 92 years old.
