Barbara Tarbuck was born on January 15, 1942, and died on December 27, 2016.

She was an American actress from Detroit, Michigan.

She was best known for her role as “Lady Jane Jacks” in General Hospital.

When she was a child (from the ages of 9-13), she performed as a regular for a children’s series called Storyland, which aired on the AM Radio Station WWJ in Detroit, Michigan.

She attended Cooley High School and Wayne State University.

She was the winning receiver of the Eva Woodbridge Victor Scholarship and finished her Bachelors in 1963.

During her time at college, she participated in the production of Where’s Charley, which toured through Europe.

Barbara Tarbuck also earned her Master’s Degree in Theatre from the University of Michigan.

Then, Barbara Tarbuck went to Indiana University to work as the lead actress in their inaugural theatre touring company season.

Barbara Tarbuck began to work on her PhD and taught beginning acting.

She attended the Indiana University, where she was granted a Fulbright Scholarship to LAMDA.

Then, she moved to New York City to pursue her acting career.

Barbara Tarbuck passed away at 74 years old.
