Baishnab Charan Parida

BJD politician, writer, and social activist Baishnab Charan Parida was born on February 15, 1941, and died on November 22, 2018.

He was a previous Member of Rajya Sabha (the upper place of India’s Parliament) and spoke to Odisha. Communism and secularism are his primary mantras.

Parida was chosen to Rajya Sabha in July 2010 and his term finished on 1 July 2016.

Parida battled to bring the Odisha Official Language Act, 1954.

After his registration, Parida moved to Kolkata to proceed with his higher investigations as his dad was working there.

Parida finished his Graduation in Kolkata from Bangabasi College and MA In Political Science from the University of Calcutta.

Later he finished his M.Phil from Moscow University.

In 1974 Baishnab Parida moved to Moscow with his family for a unique task for Indo-Soviet coordination.

Parida remained there until 1989.

Amid his stay in Russia, he held a few positions.

Baishnab Charan Parida passed away at 77 years old.
