John D. Lamond was born in 1947 and died on October 24, 2018.

He was an Australian film director, producer, and screenwriter.

Lamond was best known for directing such films as Felicity, A Slice of Life, Breakfast in Paris and Nightmares.

Prior to him becoming a director, John worked in distribution for Roadshow.

John D. Lamond was featured in the documentary Not Quite Hollywood: The Wild, Untold Story of Ozploitation!

Lammond died due to Parkinson’s disease, at a nursing home on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

John D. Lamond passed away at 71 years old.
