Attilio Nicora was born on March 16, 1937, and died on April 22, 2017.

He was an Italian cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church, Bishop of Verona Emeritus, and President Emeritus of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See.

Nicora served as President of the four-person Executive Board of the Vatican’s Financial Information Authority (FIA) from January 2011 until January 2014.

Nicora died in a hospital in Rome.

Attilio Nicora passed away at 80 years old.
