Ataullah Behmanesh was born on April 13, 1923 and died on July 2, 2017.

He was an Iranian wrestler and sports journalist.

He is one of the oldest and most prominent Iranian sports reporters.

Behmanesh conducted the first live sports report in Iran from Radio in 1958 to compete in Iranian and Iraqi national Sport of athletics competitions.

Behmanesh has written a number of books.
