Arthur Charles Latham was born on August 14, 1930 and died on December 3, 2016.
He was a British Labour Party politician.
He was educated at Royal Liberty School in Romford, Essex, and the London School of Economics.
Latham was elected MP for Paddington North in a 1969 by-election, which he served until 1974 when the seat was abolished in boundary changes.
Latham was then MP for Paddington, which he lost in 1979 to the Conservative John Wheeler by 106 votes (just 0.3% of the total).
Latham went on to be a councillor on the London Borough of Havering, and was Leader of the Council from 1990 to 1996.
He was married to Ruby Margaret, who died in November 2000, and they had two children: a son, Howard Arthur, and a daughter, Diana Margaret.
Latham later married Caroline Hurlstone.
Arthur Latham passed away at 86 years old.
