Arne Sandnes was born on March 2, 1924 (Snåsa) and died on May 23, 2016.
He was a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party.
He was selected for the Snåsa municipality council in 1952, and later became mayor.
Arne was appointed county mayor of Nord-Trøndelag (1975 to 1991).
He was the brother of history professor Jørn Sandnes.
