Antonio L. Cabangon-Chua was born on August 30, 1934, and died on March 11, 2016.

He was one of the Philippines’ wealthiest businessmen.

He was an ambassador to Laos and reserved colonel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines being an honorary member of PMA class ’56.

Antonio Cabangon Chua graduated from the University of the East in 1956 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Chua received a doctorate in the Humanities, honoris causa, also in the University of the East.

The businessman and diplomat were also a Certified Public Accountant.

Antonio Cabangon Chua business interests include real estate, hotel, broadcasting, print media, banking and insurance.

Chua founded the Citystate Savings Bank, Fortune Life Insurance Co., Incorporated, Eternal Plans, Citystate Properties and Management Corp. (CPMC), and Isuzu GenCars, Inc.

He was also a known philanthropist.

His family was Bienvenida Angeles his wife with 7 children.

Antonio Cabangon Chua passed away at 81 yrs old.
