Andries Kinsbergen was born on September 25, 1926, and died on June 24, 2016.
He was a Belgian lawyer and liberal politician.
He received his highschool education at the Royal Athenaeum of Deurne.
As of 2010 an auditorium at his old highschool was named after him.
During 1951, Kinsbergen graduated with a doctorate in Law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).
His career as a lawyer began in Antwerp and also worked as an assistant at the VUB.
Then, Andries became a professor at the RUCA.
Andries Kinsbergen was governor of the Belgian province Antwerp from 1 January 1967 until 1 October 1993.
As of 1993, Kinsbergen was Minister of State.
Andries Kinsbergen passed away at 89 years old.
