Andreas Vgenopoulos, Greek businessman and lawyer, Died at 63

Andreas Vgenopoulos was born on December 10, 1953, and died on Νovember 5, 2016.

He was the chairman of Marfin Investment Group and was a major shareholder of Panathinaikos FC. Vgenopoulos resigned from Panathinaikos in June 2010 citing differences with Giannis Vardinogiannis.

His departure disappointed the fans of Panathinaikos.

He owned 1% of Marfin Popular Bank and 1,5% of the Marfin Investment Group.

Andreas Vgenopoulos had also been a Greek champion of Panathinaikos’ Fencing department.

Andreas Vgenopoulos passed away at 63 years old.
