Anđelko Klobučar was born on July 11, 1931, in Zagreb and died on August 7, 2016.

He was a Croatian composer, organist, and professor of music.

He studied at the Zagreb Academy of Music and later in Salzburg and Paris.

Klobucar was organist of the Zagreb Cathedral and remained an active teacher and composer.

Anđelko Klobučar was awarded the Vladimir Nazor Award for Life Achievement in Music in 1995 and the Porin Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002.

He was a full member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts since 1992.

Anđelko Klobučar passed away at 85 years old.
