Amy Moritz Ridenour was born on November 9, 1959 and died on March 31, 2017.

She was president of the National Center for Public Policy Research, a Washington, DC conservative think tank.

She held this post since the organization’s founding in 1982 until her death.

Amy wrote a syndicated op-ed column from 1997 and was a frequent radio and television guest.
