Curtis Bentley Atchley, Jr. was born on June 30, 1930 and died on November 14, 2018.

He was mostly known as Ben Atchley.

He was an American lawmaker in the territory of Tennessee.

Atchley served in the Tennessee House of Representatives from 1972 to 1976 and the Tennessee State Senate from 1977 to 2005, as a Republican.

Atchley was a wider part pioneer and council executive in the senate.

Ben Atchley was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and veteran of the United States Naval Reserve.

Atchley was hitched with two youngsters.

Ben Atchley passed away at 88 years old.
