American motorsport executive, Mari Hulman George, Died at 83

Mary Antonia “Mari” Hulman George was born on December 26, 1934, and died on November 3, 2018.

She was American motorsport executive.

She was the daughter of Anton “Tony” Hulman and Mary Fendrich Hulman, prominent Indiana philanthropists and business owners.

Mari Hulman George was the chairperson of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from 1988 to 2016, and also of Hulman & Company.

During a long part of the couple’s marriage, they owned a farm outside of Terre Haute, but spent much of their time at their 1,300-acre (5 km2) ranch in Wyoming.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced that Mari Hulman George had passed away on November 3, 2018.

Mari Hulman George passed away at 83 years old.
