American computer hacker, Adrian Lamo, Died at 37

Adrian Lamo was born on February 20, 1981 and died on March 16, 2018.

He was an American threat analyst and hacker.

Initially, he gained media attention for breaking into several high-profile computer networks, including those of The New York Times, Yahoo!, and Microsoft, culminating in his 2003 arrest.

During 2010, he indirectly reported U.S. soldier Chelsea Manning to the Army’s Criminal Investigation Command, claiming that Manning had leaked hundreds of thousands of sensitive U.S. government documents to WikiLeaks.

He died on March 16, 2018, in Sedgwick County, Kansas at the age of 37.

Allegedly the cause of death was confirmed by Sedgwick County coroner office but was not made public.

Adrian Lamo passed away at 37 years old.
