American basketball player, Ed Leede, Died at 90

Edward Horst “Ed” Leede was born on July 17, 1927 and died on February 24, 2018.

He was an American former professional basketball player.

He was selected in the third round in the 1949 BAA Draft by the Providence Steamrollers.

Ed Leede played for the Boston Celtics, however, during his two-year BAA/NBA career.

Dartmouth College, Ed Leede’s alma mater, named their basketball arena after him.

Ed Leede died on February 24, 2018 at the age of 90.
