Altee Tenpenny died on October 20, 2015.

He was an American football player, he was a former University of Alabama football player.

Altee played for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was currently playing Nicholls State’s team.

He was suspended from Nicholls State’s team after being arrested for obstructing public passages and illegal use and carrying of weapons in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana.

Altee transferred from Alabama in January after two seasons as a reserve running back.

He was one of the nation’s top running back recruits, when he arrived from North Little Rock in 2013. 247Sports.com had him as the No. 5 running back in the nation.

Altee ran for 136 yards on 26 carries in reserve duty last season.

As a freshman, his stat line included 82 yards on 22 carries and also has caught one pass for four yards, he saw action in all 13 games and recorded five tackles on kickoff coverage.

Altee announced his transfer in January after his second season at Alabama.

Less than a month before leaving, Altee told AL.com he was not thinking about a transfer.

He passed away at 20 years old on October 20, 2015.
