Adán Nigaglioni Loyola, Puerto Rican doctor and educator Died at 86

Adán Nigaglioni Loyola was born January 12, 1930, and died on May 18, 2016.

He was a Puerto Rican doctor and educator.

Adan graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1954 where he was top of his class.

Adán Nigaglioni Loyola was a member of Phi Sigma Alpha Fraternity.

Adán Nigaglioni Loyola was the first Puerto Rican and first alumni to be dean of the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine from 1963 to 1967.

During 1967, Loyola became the first rector of the newly formed University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus.

Adán Nigaglioni Loyola passed away at 86 yrs old.
